Cool

I like the dracula theme, and how is is all techno electronica type stuff to portray it. I just really like it altogether. My only complaint would perhaps be the ending, not the very last notes, but that weird alien thing that plays twice, didn't really do it for me, I do however like how it loops, because of the intro.
I also like how it gives me a picture of some crazy future dracula.I also like that slow break with the evil string sound, that was awesome, and definately broke the repetetiveness.

Keep it up! Once again, I would like to hear more egypt and dracula themed songs, they are so diverese and awesome.

medieval7 responds:

lol, do you really like my techno? :)

I feel a golden age coming!

From what I can tell, this man, who comes upon his land, with the support of the people, who are ready to be noticed for their brilliance are going to become a prosporous land.
^^^^^as depicted by you^^^^^^
Although, I'm running out of creative juices today, I'll give this review a shot.

Here however, is what i got out of it.

FLYING, almost gives you the wonderful feeling of flying in it, maybe because of the wind effect? Im not sure, but it makes me feel nice inside, therefore i like it = ). Also, i guess i do see some of this land with hope as well. Maybe not from the viewpoint of a leader, if that is what you were saying.....OR where you saying a young man, as in a citizen. Ooooo this gives me a new light.

I see a village ready to become organized, succesful, and great. They work together like a well oiled machine, only good words come out of their mouths even though as of now, the village lies in ruins. The young man assembles the villagers, and they organize a plan to rebuild their town, physically, mentally, and emotionally. They start to build, not one complaining, and everyone seems happy for some reason, perhaps the fact that they are finally accomplashing something with their lives.

Sorry for all the long reviews that all come at once, and sorry for kind of leaving this review at a cliffhanger (if you will), but im out of creativity for today, which is also why I have been putting off the review of songs like Brotherhood, and A Place for Dreams, those are going to need all the creativity I have. Also, forget about that riddle, I just had to look at your profile, Thanks for reading, It means alot to me.

MaestroRage responds:

I don't mind long reviews at all! If anything they are a great way of letting me see how your mind works a little, and thats always fun ^^.

To begin I did in fact envision this from the viewpoint of a citizen. He looks at this destroyed land, these torn people, but he notices a smile on each face and realizes that as long as they were not dead, they were able to turn this place into a paradise.

I suppose right after that, your story takes hold, though again I did not envision gatherings, I foresaw silent agreement. People simply knew what must be done, going about their lives rebuilding, or building things anew.

In any case, you mentioned flying... and to me right away I saw an entire new story, a new and wonderful inspiring story that screams to be told... I will have to quickly finish my current project so that I may give this story life.

Thank you for the review and ongoing support Magi, again it is greatly appreciated. I am glad you enjoyed it!

AWESOME!

If you could give like a 200 for diversity and originality, this would be it. This is so crazy man. I can't help but to notice that santa does't sound very cheery, and he seems to have a whip. (not a christmas tune for children = ), and probably not if your going for the "Christmas Spirit") Anyway, this song is completely random, but well done (like always). You should make a Christmas contest entry next year.

P.S. Are you who I think you are?
-Riddle, Once upon a Maestro, there was an event in his life, which made him very sad, (Sorrowful if you will) but upon trying to depict his emotion of sorrow in music, he found that the music was beggining to be tainted with anger (rage if you will). Sorry, not a very good riddle, but i just made it up in like 2 minutes so give me a break = ). (The riddle is my question). You don't need to answer to it though, no obligation, seriously, if you don't want to, don't = ).

MaestroRage responds:

I believe you have found the answer to your riddle, so I won't spend to(yes)o much ti(yes)me answ(yes)ering it.

Did you know I have a major in subliminal messaging? N(yes)o? Interesting...

This piece was actually created to break the air that I was too depressed and angry. I was actually beginning to get pm's of people telling me to cheer up, because the world is a happy place. I couldn't agree with them more :D. So I decided to try and make something light and humerous before somebody mailed me a razor with a note attached "Jost doo it!"

PS.
50 years from now I will have another account called MaestroDiabeetus, or MaestroEpilepsy! I hope you will be able to hear whatever incredibly strange or twisted thing i'd spout out then :D!

Thanks for the review once again, i'm glad you enjoyed it ^^.

I've always loved this one.

This song just gives you such a great image. Something I wish could still be done today. Like you said, A band of friends (for who me have just got done with some huge adventure of some sort) and have finally fulfilled their destiny, and have been through alot together. They are all laying on a hillside, a nice golden one, and the sun is setting, adding to their moment as well as showing that as the day fades away, so does the life within them. They couldn't be happier though, all together, after all that they have done. Not saying a word, but just watching the sun with fatal wounds that cause no pain. They are in complete and total peace, and are ready to die. Smiling, they glance occaisionally at one another, but are never really focused on anything, just happy that they are done, and watching the past flash in their eyes more then the present. A tear is shed, but not out of the pain or sorrow of dieing, but out of happiness.

This "peace" (Oh yeah, unintentional pun) was very touching to me. It is very rare, or never, that one finds complete and total peace in their life. One that makes them cry as they die, out of joy. And in this song, I just sit here picturing this total peace, and it gives me a sense of peace. To be honest, I am very happy right now (regardless of the fact that finals are tommorrow) and it is almost solely because of your music. It has given me peace, in such a hectic week.

Thanks for this one man, it helps people.

MaestroRage responds:

Your image is so incredibly close to the image I held it's quite interesting. Whats even more interesting is the fact you chose your friends to perish with complete peace on their backs, with joy as their last emotion, where I tainted them with regrets, sadness, and a deep suffering.

The bond is the same though, these friends, unbreakable, unshakable, but at the end of the day, mortal and fragile. I am actually somewhat glad you chose your means to their death as a peaceful one. It may be the only time they get such a break.

I must sound stupid talking about them as if they existed, but i've written too many stories in my head not to be taken in by their surreal existence, and treating them as if they were truely at one point alive.

In any case, once again thank you for the review, i'm truely glad the piece has given you some peace of mind in this time of chaos. Best of luck to you with your finals!

More to it?

I feel like there is more to this song that i can express through axioms or even thoughts. This song is so very confused sounding, in a good way. SOunds to me like the hecticness (again is that a word?) of the environment around us, is making us feel more like we need more, more, and more still. When what the ideal thought process would be that of in "Cloak of WOnderment" Where we take it down a notch, and reflect.

In this is it just a hectic race to the finish, to see who can be the best, the fastest, with the least amount of effort, and work possible.

This leans almost to a Hobbes viewpoint (refferring sheerly to the song) of our society, that people are naturally hatefull, and selfish.

This is sadly, many times true of our minds, although, it would be nicer to think that everyone is like that of a Locke perspective, that everyone has the natural tendency to learn from mistakes, and to be kind. If this were COMPLETELY true however, where do these hectic and evil idea derive from in the first place? Is it from a mistake made in the past, maybe to be learned as a bad thing, but later on, maybe everyone has to make that mistake? I am completely perplexed with the psycology of a human being.....

P.S. Sorry for getting so.....off subject? Oh well, if you're reading this that must mean you survived that review -_-. Thanks for reading man.

MaestroRage responds:

not at all! I found your thinking quite interesting, as well as informative :D.

Racing to the end, becoming the best, these are all troubles that accumulate into our lives. Expectations, pressures, and the such, always present, never going away.

I personally believe that a person always behaves from their selfish core. That there can be no selfless act, many would disagree with me, and of course I would respect their opinions, but to me, there is no alternative. I suppose that means I have a Hobbes viewpoint.

In either case, thank you for the review, i'm glad you found the track entertaining. Personally this is I believe one of my most in depth ones!

Ahhhhhh

Thanks for submitting this one man. It's a much needed break from reality. Or is reality found within a song like this?
I need to stop thinking -_- it's going to confuse me some day...too late huh?

Anyway, i love this song too. I'm sure that this song will inspire people someplace, somewhere, somehow.

I think that it is almost a philisophical song, telling us just to stop, reflect for a while before we go on to the next tedious "to-do" on our list, a way of making those things more enjoyable, a way to make life more enjoyable.

I wish i could write more, but my mind is failing me at the moment, plus i've got some "to-do's" to do.

MaestroRage responds:

This one was indeed a very personal one for me. I was walking by this really great garden taken care of by this old man who simply just looked at them and smiled. Some slick pristine young man got into his Lexus and drove off, probably to some bustling company.

I was never a fast paced person, so I related with the old man instantly, and this inspired the audio you are hearing now.

You're quite welcome, I put everything up here in the hopes it will inspire somebody, and that they will create worlds to and stories alike. Knowing that it has entertained you has made it a success and therefore worthwhile.

Thank you for the review, once again, i'm glad you enjoyed the track ^^.

The truth be told...

The truth is that the world is exactly how you say it is, with both truths, and lies. However, too bad it isnt just black in white like that. Too bad it has to be so complicated, so...untrustworthy.
I love the way that you let us SEE emotions through music, this is the most important part of music to me.
I wish i could form my sentences better, for if i could, i would tell you just how awesome your music is, and how very true it is, how very....important it is.

MaestroRage responds:

every piece I create I do so with the hope of getting an idea or feeling across, so I am glad to know you are seeing these emotions, feeling what it is that they embody, for that is all I really wanted from them ^^.

Thank you for all of these reviews, truly they mean a good deal to me. I'm glad you enjoyed the track ^^.

I'd like to introduce myself

You my friend, are my hero. I have been listening to your music for quite some time, as well as many others on newgrounds, but you are one, if not my favorite.

Anyway, this work is sheer genious.
The way you took the whole wedding march music, and almost turned it into funeral music. It's just genious man. One thing that sets this apart from your outstanding imagery pieces is the fact that you can't really tell a story here. It is more of an idea, or depictment (if that's a word) of a nightmare that is unseen within people.

Also, the way you have the whole....ugh im new to music composition so i dont know what it's called, but the thing that comes in with quarter and eighth notes to counter the melody, with the choral vioces.

All in all, i think this is one of the most genious emotional depictments (again with that word) i've ever heard on newgrounds.

Thank YOU for submitting it for me to hear.

(P.S. I am trying to get into music compisition, but i don't know where to start, if you could give me some pointers that would be great).

MaestroRage responds:

This was a rather strange inspiration to be honest. I was sitting in my room wondering why there was no evil marriage song. I mean surly evil people get married, so there must be SOMETHING to get married to. I know they love their slaughtering and their slaying, but sometime, somewhere, somebody has to play a tune >:(!

I'll be honest, I don't really know the term for what you mentioned yourself, though I do realize what you mean. I don't know much music theory wise, but i'm always willing to help anybody who asks. What I CAN tell you though, is to never stop. It may be old and cliche advice, but it is true. There will be many walls you hit in your journey that will make you want to just stop, but I can promise you, if you keep making, just anything, you will begin to mold what it is that lies in your head, and how you want to portray it.

Of course again, i'll always be here if you want somebody to listen or give you some ideas on something!

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked the piece ^^.
