Your bullet array(collection) needs to be at least much longer if you don't use a double array(collection) to keep them from stopping when you shoot rapid fire.

Other then that, it's a start!

Goodluck with future games.

That was cool.

The bats are rediculous because your web is so full of crap by the time they get there you can hardly keepp up with all of the stuff, I thought I had it made with my stratagy but I wasnt quick enough once there were like 4 humming birds...I think maybe its better NOT to cover the entire area..then my whole web came down at once, leaving me with only enough wbbing for a corncer..which a bat hit.

Cool Idea for a game though,
~TheWisestMagi~

P.S. To anyone wondering what a good stratagy is, MAKE A GRID. (With only horizontal and vertical lines).

"Truly Heartfelt"

submission: :the Composer:
date: September 27, 2007

This flash...this music, it explicitly portrays " that not all truth could be deduced from axioms, that there were inescapable realities in the world which could only be reached through emotion, feeling and intuition". (-Anonymous-).

The fact that this flash-music combo portrayed such a wide variety of emotion, intuition, and the eternal (and internal) subconcious thought processes and meanings to life that we form in our head...

The fact that you managed to complete the cycle and form and endless loop..was just awe-inspiring. The thought that while when the composer was sucessful he was happy for a while, he only found a final, true happiness when he managed to find another boy, not unlike him, that he was sure would beging this cycle again, and pray that one day that boy may countinue the cycle for yet another..very lovely thoughts indeed.

I also like the fact that "The Composer" remained nameless and that he was just a nobody one day, celebrity the next, and a nobody again the day after that...

Thanks for submitting this flash AND song! I will remember it for a long time, it was truely wonderful!

Sincerely,
~TheWisestMagi~

¤{<Major Arcana>}¤ - World

"Woot!"

date: October 8, 2008

Way to go Deflektor! This sounds very nice!

For you, a story (using the knowledge of the title of the film):

We start, soaring over different parts of the world, specifically the open plains, deserts, and savannas of Africa, and as we come in closer (birdlike flying view) we beging to follow a river, seeing all kinds of life flourishing, declining, or even just living. Suddenly we jerk up
(:16) and begin an ascending over an egyptian like territory with GREAT speed, taking all of the life in at once, the entire culture, the mysteries, and it's climate all in at once.
Again we suddenly jerk, but this time quickly to our left and down: suddenly we are in a boatlike view, floating down a dark, forested river. As we slowly turn to either side, we begin to have the feeling of fear and excitement flood over ourselves all at once, creating an almost adreneline like feel for the mysterious world. We are a stranger, unnoticed, perhaps not unwelcomed either, but a stranger. We observe an almost 'pirates of the caribbean' bayou-esk scene. Life is slow moving to the eye, quick to the soul here, and just something about it gives us a feeling not unlike the blazingly exciting ride down the river...

Story without Schema:
An evil prescence was lifted from the empire, only to be filled with a darkness of much greater proportions. We knew something was missing as of late, nothing phisical, but life wasn't the same, something had been hallowed.
Finally we catch it with our eye, and take after in down the side of a river on horseback, the dark figure now, not close, but not too far to follow.
Obvious that we had been spotted, we race behind the hooded figure until twilight breaks....
As the scene turns silver, we continue our puruit of this figure, hoping- longing- for it to some way give fulfillment to the life. Finally we cath up, and are riding along side of it; and as it turns towards us, faceless, we freeze in a fear of knowing...there is a slash, then a splash, the river flows red, and the rider bounds on, unphased, unpleased, life just isn't there.

I intentionally left that second one open to interpretation.

Anywho, on a technical scale, I really have no complaints, other then the 20 second outro to a 1:30 song seemed a bit long, which is why the closing to my story was allowed to be so important, but it seems that you may want to lengthen somehow? Not sure, but it just seems a bit odd to leave it that open at the end, the former solo violin is the only thing that really gives the song resolution almost.
I enjoyed the percussive work and instrumentaion quite a bit in this song, but I think maybe an ethnic drum of some sort of higher pitch, or even something "clicky" (tambourine-ish, or ratchet-ish sounds..).

Don't get me wrong, I REALLY enjoyed this song (as indicated by not one, but two stories), something about it pleased me.

Fantastic finish to the Major Arcanna!

Keep it up my friend!

Big jump here for you, the melodies seem alot more completely, but mostly you found some new sounds with alot more depth I see...

THis song seems alot more complete then some of your others, I still like the others, but this seems FULL if you know what I mean..

I'll have to check those other new ones out tomorrow!

Nice you hear from you,

Author's Response:

Hey ! It's nice to hear from you, too !

Well, since Deep Forest of Rest, i believe my understanding of music, whether artistically or technically, changed to something better. Also, i spent quite a time looking for soundfonts, and ended up in finding some really good ones.

Again, it's really nice to hear from you again, and i hope to read cool stories from you again soon !

"Your bass"

date: September 24, 2008

Give your bass some texture =). In had to pitch or real "poompf" to it.

Great re-mix of PX9's though. Kinda generic-ISH, but i thought your transitions were particularly wonderful, and no doubt you learned alot about mixing and filtering in the making of this.

You certainly had some moments of genious in this re-mix, such as the 16th note runs at 2:00ish.

Intro owned.

I guess you like this song by PX9 as much as me...his other songs are great n' all, but this one takes the cake.
